I'm a married father of three and I bought a DiGiorno EVERY week when I go shopping. It was great pizza and the crust was awesome...but the new sauce...what have you done? It's sooooo sweet. I hated it and so does every member of my family. We literally, can't eat it. My eight year old son pegged it....he says" Dad, why did they put cinnamon in pizza?" I couldn't figure out what it was...it tastes like cinnamon! Why? I like oregeno, in fact, I order extra oregeno on my grinders when we order those but it seems like the oregeno that you use is more of a "looks" thing...I can barely taste it!
I feel bad but I HAVE to buy another brand....please bring back the old style....I bought a pizza every week @ $6 a piece...X 4 weeks is $24......X 12 months = $288.....X AT LEAST ten years = you lost a loyal customer that shelled out money every week for your consistently great pizza. PLEASE...if you do go back...don't have a "we're weeping losers, we're not afraid to make mistakes" campaign like Dominoes....just fix it and move on...don't spend one dime on advertising...word of mouth will spread...make it a secret, bring back the good stuff and your customers will do the rest!
Signed,
Broken hearted pizza-guy from Boston
